It’s been months since my last post… On the bright side, I would love to share some photos and details of a trip I went on last November to Tokyo. First thing first, Japanese food never fails me, especially this snack called “Melonpan”, which is a pastry that has a fresh slice of pineapple and vanilla ice-cream in it, it probably is 5000 calories but it’s life-changing and worth trying… Also, the creme brulee from this chain restaurant by the name of “Toriyoshi”, is also one of the best desserts I have tasted. One thing you cannot miss out is the Purikura machine, yes it has been around for the past 20 years but it’s the most hilarious activity you can do with friends in Japan, period. It is this machine that deliberately makes human’s faces super animated and kawaii like Japanese cartoons. You can find one of these at any arcades in the heart of Shinjuku, where you can spend the entire day playing video games. And if you get tired of eating and shopping around I’d say go to this department store called “the loft”, where you can find absolutely any necessities and unnecessary items and most importantly massage sofas for free. And if you’re a shopaholic like me, you definitely need to book a day trip to Mt. Fuji, which will also stop at the biggest premium outlet mall in Japan in Gotemba, where you can find designers goods like Saint Laurent and Dsquared for low prices. Hmm, I think that summarizes a lot on my trip, its basically all about eat pray love minus the latter two. Stay tuned for my next journey with me!
